I am having issues converting a .wlmp project file to a viewable movie file. .wav or .mp4 would work best. I have looked online, and followed all the steps, but when it comes to saving the file, it only allows me to save it as a movie maker file. Please help.

Missing MS Adapters

Hi Everyone,

I have run into a problem with the following network adapter drivers:
MS 6to4 has a yellow exclamation mark by it, MS ISATAP is missing and the MS TEREDO TUNNELING PSEUDO INTERFACE IS MISSING.
I have not observed any bad effects and I was wondering if these are even necessary, if so how can I correct these issues?

Thanks,

No more music

My computer won't recognize my iPod in iTunes when I want to add music to the already existing assortment. We have tried all sorts of backup, restart, etc. and nothing works. It has been suggested that it is a Windows problem, not iTunes or my iPod. I would appreciate any suggestions.

[BSOD] Several different BSODs but all seem to be linked

Hi guys.
I've had BSODs for about two years now, occuring probably two-three times monthly, sometimes with huge gaps, other times with more frequency. Never too bad. This June and July have been like 6 times per month though, and I am becoming more and more worried.

I think it started around the time my original Powercolor 7950 started overheating to 80C in BF4 and I RMA'd it. I toughed it out for awhile but I just started graduate school and cannot afford for this to suddenly crash on me anymore. ESPECIALLY during tests!

I figured yeah, I can see some driver failures, crashes, and DX stuff going on, so it must be the Powercolor Card sucking. I decided to upgrade to an R9 290X after selling a buttload of things. Worked fine for a week, and suddenly two BAD_POOL_HEADER errors.

I ran a memcheck, windows says my sticks are fine. Anyways, here is the full report on the computer, I'll include dxdiag stuff as well.

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate SP 1
RAM: Corsair 1866Mhz Vengeance 4x4GB (16GB) RAM (Set to 1866 in BIOS)
CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4 Ghz (I was originally going to overclock, but then it was a year after I purchased and this started happening so I figured I might as well just ditch that idea)
Motherboard: ASUS P8Z77 V-LK LGA 1150
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO (Again, was going to overclock, now I just heat my room LOL)
OS Drive: Kingston HyperX 256 GB Solid State Drive (SATA III)
Storage: 1 TB WD Blue 7200 HDD (SATA III)
Optical: ASUS 24X DVD
Optical: Samsung BluRay
PCIe: Sound Blaster Z Series
PCIe GPU (Current): Sapphire AMD R9 290X
PCIe GPU (Past): Powercolor Radeon HD 7950
Display Driver: Catalyst 15.7 (BSODs since around late 13.x to early 14.x)
BIOS DATE: 02/01/13 Ver 10.01

Attached is the DXDIAG file from today, as well as the minidumps from 1) Pre new graphics card installation contained in the folder labeled as such 2) Two mini dumps from recently - post new graphics card.

Thanks for any help you guys can give me, definitely don't want to head into Windows 10 tonight with some critical things wrong with the computer.

HD videos lagg, online and offline (more so online)

Hello.

when i play videos online the higher quality they are the more they stutter and lag (and slow down)
This just happened all of a sudden, i could play videos fine before.
it happens to videos played using vlc too, but to a lower extent.

i recently changed to 64bit, then updated my gpu driver to 64, which didn't do anything.
i installed macromedia flash 8 not too long ago (bout the same time the problem arose), thought that might have something to do with it, seeing as it's so old, maybe it down graded my flash player or whatever (i don't even know if you use flash players offline....)

Windows Update Installation Repeatedly Fails

I have been unable to install Windows updates for a couple of months now on my Windows 7 desktop. I've run the troubleshooting tool several times and tried deleting the cache files. Still no luck. Windows Update says I have 7 important updates and every time they fail with varying error codes for each. I can't run the security updates or install a newer version of IE. Stuck and not sure what to do. Help is much appreciated!

Very Slow System. Virus or other issue?

Hi, 2 weeks ago I ran MSE full scan and it found Trojan Win32/Dynamer!ac. I tried to remove it but computer froze. I went on a Malware help site and did following. Ran Farbar recovery scan. Ran Malwarebytes antimalware. Neither found any issues. However system is running very slow and a few days ago went into Startup repair when I switched it on. Afterwards I found a file in C drive containing mpasbase and mpavbase.vdm._p. Believe these are something to do with windows antivirus definitions?
Am concerned as to why system is so slow on start up since this happened.
Not sure what to do to resolve this. Help would be appreciated thanks as I'm not that technically minded!
Thanks

help with win 7 corruption / win 10

so where to start, well first of all i need to know how to repair a corrupted version of windows 7. I have two hard drives atm one with windows 7 working and one with the corrupted version on it. The main issue here is when my friend was fixing my computer he didnt format the hard drive with win 7 on it properly and i now have about 500mb's if im lucky on that hard drive. So id like to know how do i go about fixing the other hard drive with the corrupted windows 7 on it and no i cant reformat the hard drive and reinstall windows on it since he lost the disk briefly after doing so and it may not have been all that legal.

In the end of it all id like to get windows 10, how i figured about doing this was to get my old hard drive working with win 7 on it, boot up using that then install win 10 on it since it would have enough space to get the files which my current one cant.

If anyone else knows a better way of eventually getting windows 10 as my os without all this trouble that would amazing, i just want a hd with space on it

uhh i dont know what other information to give, i'm fairly certain its the windows files that are corrupted since i can still run my old games from it and not the hard drive.

tl;dr win 7 corrupted, got new hd with win 7, didnt format correctly, ****, want win 10 but not enough hd space, help get meh win 10 somehow by fixing corrupted hd or black magic

ill be out for the next two hours kinda bad time to post this but oh well

Previously, when I did a search at google.com, a list of entries would come up, and then I simply needed to click on a particular link to be taken to that web address.

Now when I click on one of these links, nothing happens.

How can I restore the link connectivity from the google search list to the web page listed?

Thanks much!

How to unlock permissions to 'Allow' access to a Folder that has multiple files

I have a folder with 70gb data (multiple folders & files inside). To restrict access to this folder, I changed the permissions by doing the following, Right click on Folder -> Properties -> Security Tab -> Advanced -> Change Permissions -> Edit -> 'Check' Deny -> Apply. Now to change the permissions back to normal, I followed the same to 'Uncheck' deny and Apply. But, only the main folder got its permissions back but all the files & folders are said to be locked. That means, I have to unlock each & every file and folder (they are in 100's) by setting their permissions which is a horrifying task. I need help in unlocking them to normal at ONE GO. Please do the needful.

How to I unlock my primary folder, including all the sub folders and files inside my primary folder, at one go ?

Updates just won't download

I was checking the update history and there are so many security updates that failed, I didn't want to count them! The error code is 3800700003. I tried Mr. Fix-It. I tried the Troubleshooter. I even followed the instructions to delete the temporary files like the error code said, but when I got to the final step the to delete the files in the Software Distribution folder, it said they were tied up in the Administration something or other and couldn't be deleted.

Also, I had gone another route with the Event Viewer and saw there were many events but I don't know what that means anyway. These all said they were "friendly", so how could they do any harm? I had stopped the updater, but after I couldn't delete the temporary files like it told me to, I turned automatic updates back on. If I have to send this to a computer shop, they start out at about $90.00.

Can anybody point me in the right direction. I'll never be able to upgrade to Windows 10, otherwise.

I want to restore my pc to factory settings but I'm running into problems...
I press f8 inn boot up and it opens up the advanced boot up menu or whatever it's called. Then I press enter on the repair this computer option. But as I let it load it gives me a message telling me that the root system path is incorrect. I've never messed with the systems paths in the past, so I don't know how to fix that. Anyone have any advise?

problems downloading updates in Windows 7

Hey Guys,

I've recently installed Windows 7 Ultimate on my desktop computer system and then I installed the SP1 service pack on the computer.

The desktop computer features these specifications:
- ASUS M2A-VM motherboard
- AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ Dual Core CPU (codename "Windsor") at 2.2GHz
- 6GB DDR2 PC2-5300 memory
- Integrated ATI Radeon X1250 graphics

I also have a separate Wireless-N networking card on that desktop computer. It's a Linksys WMP600 dual-band Wireless-N PCI networking card.

Whenever I tried to run Windows Update on the system, sometimes it takes a while for the computer to send/receive information from Microsoft's servers concerning the updates for the particular operating system. My internet connection is running okay for the most part (doing activities other than Windows Update), but sometimes - I often get an error saying that "Windows Update Encountered an Unknown Error" (or something like that).

My theory could lay on a probable cause - the recent activity down at Microsoft's Servers that is (at the time of this posting) hogging up the resources for assisting users on upgrading their Windows 7/8/8.1 system into the latest version of Windows - known as Windows 10.

I've also tried to do the same situation (checking for updates that is) on another computer (which is the Lenovo Thinkpad T60 laptop computer) - but (at the time of this posting of the thread), the problem is very similar to mine.

Anyways, what particular suggestion that you can give to me at this point? Should I reconfigure my networking settings for my computer or should I wait until the "traffic" dies down at Microsoft's servers? The latter seems to be a silly question, but I wanted suggestions.

I have successfully paired my windows 10 laptop with my Samsung sound bar, but cannot figure out how to direct the audio to the soundbar. The only device shown in the audio settings is the laptop's speakers and they are checked as the default output. Please tell me how to get the sound bar set as the default output device. Thx.
