I have a Lenovo Y460p and it's been randomly shutting off whenever I get into game. Whenever it shuts off, it's like pulling the plug on a Desktop computer, it blanks out and doesn't restart or have crash logs, etc.
I've done my research etc, I've been having a problem, I know it's not overheating. The CPU is normally at 50 C or so and the GPU never passes around 60 C or so.
Even if I let the computer sit overnight and then I turn on the computer, it's fine when using Facebook, etc, I can have multiple tabs, spotify, iTunes, etc open without any slow down or issues.
So for example, the game I play is League of Legends, and the client functions fine, and the game will load in, but as soon as the game starts (I normally tab out of the game and browse the internet while I wait for the game to load), I tab in and almost 4 seconds later it crashes. I haven't had this problem before until just recently.
I'm running a 120W charger on my laptop, so I don't think the power input could be the issue. I have a dead battery also, so I've tried to run the game with and without the battery, and the result is the same.
*edit* forgot to mention my graphics driver is up to date.
Any ideas as to what it may be?
