hi my name is mohit tyagi and i am from India. i got a new wifi a few days ago. its working amazing on my ps4 and mobile and computer too. i am a big fan of mmorpg's (online games) so decided to download my all time favorite game Lineage 2. but unfortunately i am unable to download it. everytime i try to download it over wifi it gives and network error. however if i use my mobiles wifi there is no issue.
guys pls help me out. and yea i can download all the other stuff without any issues.

It's listed as PDF printer with a checkmark in msconfig on the startup tab, after unchecking it, pressing apply, then pressing ok and clicking restart now after it prompts me, it will still appear on startup with a pop up saying I have no days left, and it also opens firefox to this site.

I checked MSconfig after the startup and the checkmark is back after startup, even though unchecked it before.

My first quest is to find the right question. My second quest, which I think I can do on google, is how to do it. I teach in 21 different classrooms each week. I only have a few minutes to go and set up the computer, paper, etc in each classroom so I need to be efficient. I want the computer in each classroom to have a timer with a graphic that displays remaining time. I need to show the objective along the very top of the computer (we have these 72" tablet computers in each classroom) and the objective needs to move independently of other parts of the screen. About one fifth of the computer screen (occupying the whole screen from top to bottom) needs to display some info from a website from time to time. This is just a taste of what I need. I will be drawing on a few different sources for information and will need the space resized.
Can I accomplish this by customizing a win 7 desktop? Would making my own webpage (to be opened from the computer, not hosted online) be more useful? I am looking for a light shove in the right direction here, as well as some basic vocabulary that help me be independent.

I just transfered/copied 8 TB of data to a new drive only to find the file creation dates have been reset to the copy date for every single file.
I will now have to wipe the new drive clean and re-transfer everything in a way that keeps the original creation dates, how can I do that?
I'm quite sure "move" keeps the original dates, but I'd like to be able to keep a backup copy in case there's a problem with the new drive.

Hi,
I have Windows 7 Professional with SP1.
I have just discovered that I have three Recovery partitions taking up a lot of much needed space.
There are 4 partitions on the HD in the following sequence:
2GB Healthy (Active, Recovery Partition)
107.74Gb NTFS Healthy (Boot, Page File, Crash Dump, Logical Drive)
8.32 GB Healthy (Recovery Partition)
6.17 GB (Healthy (Recovery Partition)
Why 3 Recovery Partitions??
Do I need them all?
Can I get rid of any of them?

Hey I have an Ecot school computer that runs windows 7 professional and recently the school has been suspended so I'm left with a computer with restriction on it and I'm just wondering I still there a way to bypass the restrictions or get the admin login or maybe reset it all together.

Found an exploit that was installed on my computer about 5 minutes ago waiting until I opened my email against it could infect my entire address book, its from my aunt in Kenya that still has the 64 million dollars US that I was stupid enough to reply to when I was drunk about 5 years ago, Thank TSF for the support in the past telling me what programs to use to contain and isolate these things

Hi,
A while back now (maybe 2 years) I did a full reinstall of win7 on my home PC, and ever since then I've noticed some weird behaviour with clicking during focused applications (mainly games but not always).
Basically the problem is such: when i open a game (or any application which eats the whole screen with no taskbar etc), Clicking with my mouse will randomly seem to click the desktop instead, through the application. This usually pulls me from the game/app and puts me on desktop. If there's an icon/folder/etc where I clicked I'll have opened that too.
It's a really weird issue which seems to occur pretty randomly, some apps/games more than others, but a couple of things I've generally noticed:
-Running a game in windowed mode will almost always click through to desktop
-Running a game in fullscreen will clickthrough to desktop if there are other open windows on the desktop.
-Most fullscreen apps/games will not Alt-tab back in. They get to desktop fine but they will never Alt-tab back in. I generally need to use (Switch to) in task manager to refocus the window.
On top of all of this - occassionally when I start my PC my mouse isn't detected. I have to unplug and replug for it to focus.
I don't know if this thread belongs in Win7 support, but I'm not sure where else it lives since this really only happened after the reinstall. It's been suggested that it might be a registry problem but I've tried CCleaner registry fix to no avail.
Any help offered would be spectacular

Hey all,
So I have a workstation that the HDD just went bad on, so I bought a SSD to put in it. When I first got the workstation I made a System Image of it (4 DVDs). So I plug the new SSD in, put the first DVD in and boot from it. It runs through all four DVDs copies to the SSD then asks me to reboot. I reboot (first changing the boot order to the new SSD) and it loads windows and goes to the System Recovery page that only has three options
Not this one. It says something like System Restore, Create a System Image and a third one I can't remember. Selecting System Restore it asks me which drive and/or partition I want to restore to and I select the SSD. It then shows a loading bar then shows an error that says "Please use /ref". If I click on the reboot it reboots but won't load and says MOOTMGR is missing. The only way I can get back to the Recovery screen is by running the DVDs again. Any ideas?

Running Win 7 pro x64
installed year ago ... runs fine.
I have had daemon tools lite (4.35.5) installed and used it for the whole time.
But now I get "This program requires at least windows 2000 with SPTD 1.6 or higher. Kernel debugger must deactivated" now.
I disabled the kernel debugger and rebooted..no joy.
I never activated the debugger, is it needed for other programs?
I dont currently use any anti virus/security besides MS security essentials.

My computer has been generally slow for a while, but suddenly one day it was having a lot of issues. 3 blue screens over the course of two hours despite only using chrome type issues.
I set it up to check the C-drive, restarted to initiate that and went to bed.
The next day it seemed to be fine. The day after that I shut down and when I came back I noticed it was on the log-in screen as if it had restarted instead of shut down. So I logged in and shut it down again.
When I came back the next morning it was very slow to start-up, staying on the initializing screen after log in for 5-10 minutes. When it finally loaded all transparency was gone and it was extremely slow in general. When I tried to check the event viewer I got a "the snap-in is not responding" error and it wouldn't work. I checked for updates and saw there was one for my graphics card so maybe it was a graphics card issue, but the update errors. I tried checking the properties of my C-drive again but every time I right click it windows explorer errors and restarts.
I'm restarting again to see if that helps.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
