I would like to convert my rar document into a pdf document, but am unable to obviously . the rar type file is saved onto my desktop; I double click on the rar file and click the extract icon button in the 7zip program. Once i performed those actions, my file breaks into two files(which are just components of my original rar file) and I click on one of the two files and one of the files became converted to a pdf. However, when I click on the pdf file that was formerly a rar file, this is the message that pops up:
Quote:

"Adobe Reader could not open because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged."

I have a feeling why i am unable to extract my rar files successfully. I clicked on the options button in the 7zip menu, clicked the tools button, clicked on the system tab and I select the rar button, click the apply button and click the OK button.Unfortunately, when I reopen the system tab in , the rar box I previously checked is unchecked and I have to recheck it again by rechecking the rar box. Sadly, this same cycle repeats. what do yoiu think I am doing wrong? i followed video tutorials on how to extract a rar type file in 7zip and I am still unable to resolved my issue.
