Windows explorer has stopped working loop?

I've been having an issue with my PC where every 3 minutes or so a window appears on the screen saying Windows explorer has stopped working, it then takes about 5-10 seconds before the window changes to Windows explorer is restarting, the taskbar quickly flashes and then the error loops again after 3 minutes or so has passed.

Here's my current hardware specifications

CPU - AMD FX 8150 3.60GHz (Never Been Overclocked)
GPU - Sapphire Radeon HD 6850 + XFX HD 6850 Crossfire (Never Been Overclocked)
RAM - 4 X 2GB Kingston HyperX Blu (8GB In Total)
PSU - Coolermaster GX650W
Motherboard - ASUS Sabertooth 990FX
Monitor - Acer GR235H 23" 1080p
HDD - Maxtor 320GB SATAII
SDD - SanDisk 128GB SATAIII
