Last night I had a scare: after running Periform's CC Registry Cleaner, and restarting the computer, I ran into problems.
I kept getting a message to use Start Up Repair, and it took forever, going through various start up repair menus before I finally got the desk top back up.
I realize I seriously need to create a Recovery disk for just in case. . . .
Can someone please tell me, step by step, how I go about this???
Almost all my personal stuff is on three external hard drives, so mostly program files are on the C drive. There is a D drive (partitioned off from the C drive?), which I thought was a back up, but now I am not so sure. . . .
Also, can I put the Recovery files on a USB drive, instead of a disk??? If fact, I should probably create two Recovery sets of files on two separate USB drives????
Thanks for any help you can offer.
