Installing Windows 7 .iso

Hi, I just finished building a new PC. I am about to turn it on, but I'm just trying to first figure out how to install Windows 7. I currently have the .iso file on my Mac. My plan is to burn the .iso file on to a disk and put that into the drive of the PC. Will this work?
