Computer does not detect OS and will not boot into Windows

About a month back, my 5 year old PC died on me, due to simultaneous failures of the motherboard, PSU and the main HDD which had a Windows 7 installation. I went and got replacement parts and got my computer running.

I installed windows onto the new drive and my computer would boot up. But weirdly enough, it detected TWO copies of Windows 7. Trying to boot the second copy of "windows" would end up in an error. I didn't pay much attention to it, because all it took was me hitting enter for the boot sequence to continue.

But recently, my secondary HDD which I had with me has also failed, and I've taken it out. But now, my computer doesn't recognise that I have an OS installed on my still-functioning main HDD. I get a "Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key." error whenever I try to boot.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
