What Is KME Update For?

I recently did a clean install. My computer is running perfectly. One of the updates I'm offered is 'KME inc. - Input - USB Human Interface Device'.

I've searched the Internet for an hour. All I can find on this software is that it is for a USB Human Interface Device. I want to know which USB Human Interface Device. Since my computer is running so nicely, I'm not about to install software I know nothing about or may not need.
