gain full permission on C drive

Hi,


I installed new OS win xp in D drive. There was already a OS win 7 in C drive. Now after I get in to win xp, when I try to give full permission for C drive, I get "access denied" error for files like hibfile.sys


Actually I no more want win 7 in the computer, I want to use win xp only and I want to use C drive as extended or logical memory only. I would like to have full permissions in the drive.

Is it possible?
