So I bought a new laptop today, Its a lenovo U410, I tired to run in it safe mode through start/ search/msconfig --- change to safemode ---- restart.
when the computer restarted it did not load windows.
And I received a message "windows boot manager"
windows failed to start, a recent hardware or software change might be the cause. to fix the problem 1- 2- 3-
FILE: \BOOT\BCD
status: 0xc0000034
I tired to reinstall windows from a usb.
I get to the "Select A Driver To Install windows"
But I see no drivers available.
I tried the bellow steps ( i found this on this site) (http://www.techsupportforum.com/foru...on-560990.html)
steps Start>
1- put your win 7 dvd into the rom and boot it
2- Go to the repair option that windows 7 setup provides
3- Open the command prompt and type following commands:
i) diskpart
ii) list disk
it will show the list of your drives, with the information:
- status
- total space
- free space
status would probably be "invalid" and free space would be "0 bytes"
you have to select the drive next with
iii) sel disk <disk number>
disk number = as listed in previous command, normally 0
iv) clean
now for verification of disk status and free space type
v)list disk
the status should be "online" and free space should be "disk size"
vi)exit
steps end>
the problem is i do not see my driver. I only see the usb i am booting from.
Please help me. I am so frustrated
