Internet explorer blocking Java applet installl

So at my workplace we use a web-based application that uses Java, well recently Java got updated to a nonsupport version. So today I uninstalled he new version and then installed the needed version. However I also removed a Java add ons from Internet Explorer, so now when I go to open my work application it try's to install Java but the active x installer gets blocked but even after allowing that and selecting run, I get an error saying that its been blocked because its either not signed or from a trusted publisher or something similar.

I poked around in my security settings within IE but still no luck, however I can run the application just fine in IE 64bit.

Please help!
