Recently after a crash, i could not boot the OS after bios, instead the mobo continued to beep. After removing and testing almost all components, ive isolated the problem -my boot hdd. I temporarily installed a 2nd boot drive and when i plug te problem drive in as a slave drive, I can access the problem hdd fine. Windows repair however does not seem to detect an OS on the drive however it does detect the HDD.
Ultimately i am wondering what is wrong with my main boot drive and is there a way to repair it when having it ran as a slave.
