OK so built new computer and was suggested by tech at ncix that i have two hard drives. 1ssd for operating system 120G and one for all other crap, programs software games etc.. 2TB. Did that and have about 70g filled on ssd with operating system and some other stuff and want now to have ALL other software etc installed on 2TB drive. I have read other forums and have changed setting as per instructions on other forums as in regedit and changing programfilesdir and programfilesdirx86 from C which is my ssd to E which is 2TB. the programs that i now install seem to install on E as from what i can see but now for some reason shortcut icons on destop will error saying path does not exist in C drive. after reading a couple of threads on this site i noticed that someone else has same problem and changed another file in regedit called programw6432dir as well. i have not made that change yet. should i? will that fix the error path message? it also affected my internet explorer when i go to use it from the start menu and with the path error message from those programs destop icon logos they no longer show up as the logo it was before but a generic logo with no discription. Just so you all know i am running windows7pro64 amd8core 32gigram. i am a novice as for computers and all the setting and all. Please email me back with advice to solve my problem at: toomuchbeer@shaw.ca

Thanks

Ryan
