[SOLVED] Can you install/is it worth installing Windows 7 64bit version on an old IDE

I'm building a spare PC system and found a spare hard drive and was wondering if I can format it and (an old Western Digital 80Gb IDE with oldskool 4 pin power connector) to install Windows 7 64bit onto? Or does it need to be a newish SATA type to be worth installing that onto it (to boot off)?

The only reason I'm considering using a 64bit version is so it can recognize and utilize the full 4 gig ram. It's not going to be a fast system/spec (no gaming, DVD videos etc) so I might consider windows 7 32 bit if there's any fix/patch to get it to recognize all the RAM. I will use it for processing audio and photo editing (audacity and photoshop) so ideally I'd like the full 4 gig of RAM.

Are there any limitations or issues with Windows 7 64bit that I should consider if I'm only used to 32 bit operating systems (XP and 7) in the past?

It will be running an ASUS M2A-VM motherboard with DDR2 ram slots, and an AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+ CPU

Thanks
