how to pause running process in task manager?

I want pause the running process in the task manager.how to do it?

EX: Firefox, Windows media player or other third-party software.I DON'T WANT TO KILL PROCESS. ONLY PAUSE THE PROCESS TO 5 second or 10 second.....


how to do it with cmd.......? i want command the line................
