Windows 7 won't boot

First of all, this is entirely my own fault. Here's the story.

I have finally finished rebuilding my gaming rig, and was preparing to reformat, attempting to keep as much of my data safe as possible.

To do this I went onto disk management, shrank the partition, and repartitioned the 'empty space' to use as a storage backup for my useful stuff. And had planned to leave all the throw away stuff on the C: drive to be removed when I reformatted.

I succeeded in making this new drive, and copying over everything. When I repartitioned however the computer came up with a message about making the drive 'dynamic' and that this may affect boot. Also stating that I would need to set the drive as the boot drive.

After clicking 'ok' I had a quick look and it said (in the little notes area) health: Boot, page file, etc etc etc

I assumed this meant it was still set to boot from this drive. Apparently it was not. Now when I start up my gaming rig it has in big capital letters.

DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER

I have absolutely no idea where my system disk is... At all.

So several questions here

1: Is there anywhere I can download a system disk image? Either that or I'll need to hunt through my room until I find a system disk.

2: The install I have is windows 7 ultimate (got it cheap while I was a student) however I also have windows 7 home premium on my normal PC. Will this work just as well (if it's the only one I can find)

3: Can I use anything else to fix my ****-up? ( gparted, a linux boot disk, a miracle )

4: Any other advice you feel is relevant.

Thanks in advance, and if you need any other info then please just let me know.
