Windows 7 suddenly freezes and becomes unresponsive

I recently bought a new PC with windows 7 64-bit, service pack 1.
I've had this problem ever since I first got this PC.
My computer suddenly freezes for no apparent reason, no error message or BSOD, it just freezes and I need to power it off, for it to go away.
I did install a liquid cpu cooling for this PC (Kühler H2O 620), but nothing points to the fact that there is anything wrong with it. All fans work, nothing is overheating etc.

Please help!
