Hi folks,
A while back I was working on home Vista PC....and all of a sudden it strook me that I really hated Vista.
Sooo... I replaced Vista with XP... However I could not find XP drivers for my PC.
The PC in question is ; http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/p...roduct=3356491
Anyway, seeing as XP was a no go I decided to put Vista back on. It was on the recovery drive... However.. this was no corrupted (even though I had installed XP on a different drive). So I borrowed a Vista disc from a mate assuming that I could use my original key to activate it, but it didn't work.
Please note that I only use original discs and legal product keys.
Which leaves me now thinking whether I should put Windows 7 on the PC? A friend of mine (who works in IT) says that Windows 7 will use the correct drivers needed for my pc. So... is it just a matter of inserting the disc, formatting the disc drive when promted and the putting 7 on?
Hope you can help!
