I have been trying all day to find a website that shows how to disable delete browsing history. All of the startup commands offered are not available in home basic. This is for IE9. I cannot use anything offered so far because once you get far enough into the process, the next thing to choose is not available at all. Regedit and the one with .msc for vista does not work for home basic. There is no group policy editor that I can find, nor an admin user configuration option. Can anyone help? Why? Parental controls are extremely limited in usefulness, unless your children are five years old. Otherwise you lock up everything. On the other hand, you can lock out a couple of categories without closing off everything, but you're still subjected to most everything on you tube and other sites. I have one at home that I am curious about and need to take a look. I think if browsing history cannot be disabled, that in itself will be a powerful deterrent. Thanks a lot!
