Hello all, a couple weeks ago some things happened
1) A bios update royally screwed my asus laptop
2) I bought a brand new HP ENVY m6-1158ca laptop
After 2 weeks of trying to learn windows 8 and fool with it and stuff i said screw it i need windows 7 back! What i want to do is ual boot m preinstalled win8 with my retail Win7 Ultimate
So from my understanding i need to do the following
Disable secure boot
Partition a drive (750 for win7,250 for 8 on my 1T HDD)
Install win7
Use easybcd to restore win8 bootloader and create dual boot functionality
Is this correct or is something wrong in that scenario? Could someone please provide a step by step instruction on doing this? I want to keep my current win8 install and the way it is set up, and put 7 along side it and have a dual boot setup.
The other thing is, i dont know about win7 drivers for my brand new win 8 laptop???
