:banghead: First of all I hope I put this in the right area?The trouble started when an ad on youtube said I didn't have the latest version of flashplayer & would need to upgrade to it if I wanted to see the ad (fancy car).So I thought fine & followed the link,nothing seemed to work properly.eventually download started got to 50% then says "close following program to continue" (internet explorer).Tried 'fiddling around' won't budge beyond 50%.Tried uninstalling flashplayer says 'the installer will automatically continue when these conflicting applications are closed "internet explorer" B.S!Wont uninstall.At that stage could still play flashplayer supported videos.On the uninstall/change programs list I tried uninstall on "adobe flash player 11 activeX plug in" successfully which was listed directly below, "adobe flash player 11 activeX" (only difference being the added words "plug in",then couldn't play any flash supported videos.So now I can't uninstall or reinstall!If I try reinstall it's stuck on 50% "please close the following programs to continue (internet explorer).If I try uninstall says "the program will continue when these conflicting applications are closed" (I.E.) B.S! Doesn't work. Any ideas?:confused: I'm thinking if I could just reinstall the separate one which said 'plug in' added to the title that would fix it??At least I could play the vast majority of flash video.But it doesn't offer that as a separate download.Any ideas?
