[SOLVED] Can't drag and drop icons

That was the first thing I noticed, anyway.

Win 7. 64bit Home Premium SP1.

This started happening a few days ago. I do not have any idea what may have triggered it.

I try to drag and drop an image to my editing software for instance, and all I get is the crossed circle "No" as soon as I try to start dragging.

I also have found that I can't get to certain folders that I could before, such as C:\Documents and settings (Not accessible. Access id denied)....resistance is futile ? :D

EDIT: I just tried using the properties and then Security settings. I tried to alter 5the settings to allow, rather than deny Everyone, Administrators etc. It kept saying Access Denied...and yet the permissions were marked with a tick on Allow. I then went to advanced settings. It says Type: Deny Name: Everyone in the first row. But in the next 3 rows it says "Allow" to Everyone, SYSTEM and Administrators. I tried deleting the line that said to deny everyone It allows the deletion, but the Deny Everyone simply reappears when I hit OK.

The above may or may not be relevant, but seems related, so I brought it up.

Any help appreciated

Nick
