Hard drive full of .sst

Hello All,

My hard drive has been overrun with .sst files to the tune of 387GB. The files seem to be associated with Google as follows.

AppData/LocalLow/Google/GoogleEarth/unified_cache_leveldb_leveldb2

Can anyone tell me what these are and what to do about it?
