Hi all,
I am hoping someone can give me advice on the following error message which spontaneously started appearing in Outlook (2007):
"Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window. The set of folders cannot be opened. Errors have been detected in the file xyz.pst. Quit Outlook and all mail-related applications, and then use the Inbox repair tool (Scanpst.exe" to diagnose and repair errors in the file. For more information about the Inbox repair tool see Help".
Is the "Scanpst.exe" file already installed on my system with Outlook? If not please post a url where it can be downloaded for Win7 64 bit Ultimate. I have read a few forums pointing to errors with xml files used for the Navigation Pane. Could that perhaps be the issue here or is the Scanpst.exe route the only way to fix it?
Any advice will be much appreciated
