Before I went to bed the night before, I noticed that it was taking abnormally long to for the contents of my Skyrim folder but it is nearly 30GB so I didn't think it was too suspicious. But when I woke up today, when I turn on the computer it goes to a black screen with white text and I have 2 options to choose from:
1)Launch startup repair (recommended)
2)Start Windows normally
If I try to start windows normally, it just gets stuck at the Starting Windows image with the logo. If I launch startup repair, I tried doing a system restore but for some reason, if i saw correctly it is only for (D:) and not (C:) which my OS is on. Also, it didn't work and now the noise coming from my computer sounds less pleasing:sad:
I would really appreciate it if someone knew what could be causing this problem and how to diagnose it. Personally I suspect my hard drive might be malfunctioning(I hope I don't lose all my files:cry:) Thank you for taking the time to read this.
