Please help...I've run out of Internets!

You're all busy people so I'll cut right to my problem. My PC has apparently forgotten that it has a network card...let me explain.

My router is in my living room. My PC in my bedroom. I use a signal-by-mains kit (Maplins own) to connect PC to router, and thus link into my home network and thus, access the Internet.

I recently uninstalled a few programs, chiefly Autodesk Inventor Suite (which I'm convinced is the cause of my issue), with CCleaner. I also cleaned the registry, since Inventor has a LOT of file extensions associated with it and...I just like a clean system.

After that, my PC stopped being able to access the Internet over the wire. I'm using a wireless dongle at the moment but I'm a gamer and the lag is killing me.

This has happened before, I fixed the issue by restoring to a previous point, but this time around my restore points are gone, the only available ones are AFTER I went on my CCleaner bender.

So, to summerise: PC will no longer transmit/receive over WLAN after uninstalling Inventor (which had a load of networking modules) and a registry clean. WiFi remains unaffected. Any advice/direction would be much appreciated.
