Hi,
A quick summary:
1. Accidentally deleted system reserved partition
2. Tried to backup PC on external hard drive just in case, and had to delete old backup to make space on external hardrive.
3. Found you need system reserved partition to make backups. -_-
4. Tried bcdboot in cmd in Recovery Environment to no avail on a bootable usb.
5. Deleted EVERYTHING on PC hard drive to a brand new windows install
6. Windows still wouldn't boot
7. Found Windows 7 hates USB 3.0 and tried USB 2.0 and bcdboot fixed bootup issues
8. Used a file recovery program to recover old backup fully!
BUT now, the backup file structure is all messed up and Windows isn't recognizing the file backup and the recovery file wizard isn't appearing.
The files I have:
-Loads of zips.
-Loads of wbcats
-Backup GlobalCatalog and Global Catalog File
-Some XML files : BackupSpecs and 10 files all named similar to "f0c171a8-4721-46f8-9a58-297364af85cc_AdditionalFilesc3b9f3c7-5e52-4d5e-8b20-19adc95a34c7"
-MediaId and MediaID.bin
How do I get Windows to recognize the backup.
Thanks for reading my question and for any help!
