Profile not working

Hi all

I have rebooted my machine and everything has vanished. I can log in but its no longer my desktop, my programs are not there, even applications like ms office are no longer there!

The desktop is like it was 4 months ago. This is very strange. I reebooted the machine a number of times and on one occasion after a chkdsk I did get my old system/desktop/apps back after that but just that once on the next reboot it everything was gone again.

This is frustrating as I know then that the system is there but I just cant get at it.

Anyone in the know?
