I have a one month old HP 6005 desktop pc running Windows 7 professional 32 bit, I'm a gamer and I purchased this computer so I could play The Sims 3 plus most of the expansion packs.

My game keeps crashing to desktop and after I did some research I discovered that the game was only recognizing 2 of my 4 gigs of ram and that my crashing would stop if I could adjust the userVA setting to 2560.

I entered command prompt (I even made sure to right click and enter as an administrator) I first entered bcedit/ set IncreaseUserVA 2560 and that didn't work, I then tried bcedit/ deletevalue IncreaseUserVA 2560 and that didn't work either.

I received the same error with both commands, 'bcedit' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

Please help me, I'm getting very frustrated, I can supply more info if it's needed.
