Windows 7 locks up after loading

Hello,

I have been troubleshooting this issue for a few days now, and I am stumped. Upon booting up, and loading the Admin account, Win7 will load, but then will be un-responsive to any mouse movement or keyboard shortcut. I can load and use from the other user account (posting from it now). It is not an admin account. Here are my specs and what I have tried:

system: win7 Home Premium sp1 64-bit system
cpu: intel i3-2120 cpu @ 3.3ghz
ram: 8gb

I have ran mbytes and came up with a few pup's which I fixed. I cannot find the logs now to go into more detail.

I have ran the win7 system repair disk 5x, once it showed an error, 'fixed' it, still had the problem.

Attempted to run system restore point to 4 days ago, still have the problem.
