the old lady texted me the other day and said that my desktop threw a BSOD.
Quote:

attempt to reset the display driver and recover from timeout failed...
STOP: 0x00000116 (0xFFFFFA8010E034E0, 0XFFFFF88007439E30, 0X0, 0X00000002)
nvlddmkm.sys - address FFFFF8807439e30 base at FFFFF880072fe000, DateStamp 51c41788
figured hell, just restart it and itll be fine.

then came my problems.

When rebooted, the interactive logon process could not be initialized. windows logo screen, then black with the NT style dialog box. clicking ok or "X" would result in the same screen coming up until i restarted the computer. then came these two fun BSOD's. nothing that i have been trained to do through vo tech or 5 years of college is helping me... and i REALLY dont want to call microsoft tech support and talk to them for 5 hours to not have my issue resolved.

so here goes:

Quote:

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA...
STOP: 0x000000050 (0xFFFFF88806a62428, 0x0, 0xFFFFF88006A6F80A, 0x00000005)
Trying to start in safe mode (with and without networking or command prompt)

Quote:

STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error}
The session manager failed to create protected prefixes system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0x000003a (0x0 0x0). the system has been shut down.
have already tried knoppix live environment, hirens boot disk, windows 7 x64 DVD, and the windows 7 x64 repair disk.

any new ideas outside of reformatting and reinstalling would be greatly appreciated.
