Corrupted Wireless adapter driver

I recently installed a program called "DriverMax" that is supposed to install the latest drivers for your programs. So the program showed me a driver for the wireless adapter and I clicked it and it installed. However, this just corrupted the driver so I had to uninstall it. That worked, so I just reinstalled what the disc that came with it had on it. That didn't really help, after I clicked the restart button it said I had a corrupted driver again. So I tried uninstalling that and reinstalling, the same blue screen and corrupted driver error. It also says on troubleshooting there may be something wrong with the driver for it.

So if anyone can help me on this, the help would be appreciated. The wireless adapter I am using is:

Belkin F9L1001v N150 Wireless USB Adapter

Computer:Acer Aspire X1200

(This computer has Windows 7 Service Pack 1 on it)
