Allow me to elaborate.
I have a large amount of video files stored on a 3TB Seagate external HDD (more specifically, this one). When I navigate to my media folder within the drive and proceed to search for a file within the directory, very rarely does the Windows Explorer search feature return any results (and if it does, they are not accurate whatsoever).
I've tried using one-word-search queries to make it easier but the Windows Explorer search feature still can't provide any results.
I also tried making my entire folder load (since it's well over 600 files to account for over 700GB of storage). When the folder was entirely loaded, I saw the following;
Take note that the film George Carlin: Life Is Worth Losing is clearly present and loaded in the folder. However, when I perform a simply search, Windows Explorer returns nothing;
Also, take note that my external drive is in fact indexed. I have tried rebuilding the index several times to no avail.
Any suggestions?
