Hi all,
I searched everywhere to find how to fix this "Fatal Error:" at startup. HOWEVER, Im having problems fixing it?
I did what my "searches" indicated to do (see below)
I put the Win 7 disk and booted from it. The "windows" files loaded and when I finally got to a point where "Press SHIFT & F10" actually did something, I got a X:sources
I try to type in the "bootsect.exe/...." command but nothing happens?
It asks me to read about the bootsect files and give me a menu to read about bootsect
Anyway... can anyone explain to me what I'm doing wrong?
thanks
Is Windows failing to boot after you installed the loader? Just do the following.
* Boot up the PC from your Windows installation disk
* Press and hold SHIFT and then press F10
* Input "bootsect.exe /nt60 SYS /force" (without quotes)
* Restart the PC
Note: If the above doesn't fix your boot issue then use the command "bootsect.exe /nt60 ALL /force" instead. Just make sure you remove all USB flash drives before you use the command.
