Hello, I wanted to ask for your help regarding a problem I have in which every 20 minutes or so an error message pops up regardless of what I may be doing at the moment. It is periodic and reappears independently of my actions, and it has only began to occur 2 days ago. I have attached a screencap of it for your convenience:

As you can see, the message reads "dgchrome stopped working and was closed". Seemingly what you may expect from a common problem with the browser Google Chrome, this is where it gets extremely weird - I am not using Google Chrome, nor do I have it installed on my computer. As you may have noticed, my default ( and only browser, aside from I.E ) is Mozilla Firefox and has been that way for years.
Although about 8 months ago I did download Google Chrome to test it out, but found out it wasn't to my liking, uninstalled it and restored Mozilla to default. However, that was many months ago, and I never had any problems or popups until 2 days ago.
I've decided to take a few steps to make sure there aren't any dormant files in my system which might cause this, but I have found nothing. I have done the following:
-Starting with the obvious, I have checked the program files directories and Appdata Local/Roaming directories, couldn't find anything tagged "Chrome"
-I have checked the running processes and services in the Task Manager, there is nothing titled "Chrome" or related to it
-Ran a complete system search for any files or folders containing the word "Chrome" , there were no results.
-Even more alarming was the fact that I'm not one to come running to forums without investigating things on my own beforehand, so I ran a Google search of that error message. There were results discussing instances in which Google Chrome has stopped working for people, but there was NOT EVEN A SINGLE mention of the precise error syntax I have received - "dgchrome stopped working and was closed". The word "dgchrome" is nowhere to be found. You are welcome to check it out.
So in short I'm quite baffled about whats' going on here, and on top of being a nuisance, those messages also become extremely annoying when I'm in the middle of a game or using a software in fullscreen, and Windows "crashes" my application by switching to the desktop window when those errors appear.
Thank you for your help in advance,
Alpecco
