Iv'e got a HP pavalion slimline and I'm having some trouble with it, at first, it would load up to the boot screen but was frozen. i figured out to take out one of the memory cards, a 1GB that was made in china... I know right, shocking isn't it? anyways, after that, i can use the boot screen, but am still having problems. when i boot from harddrive, it goes to windows is loading files, then goes to a blue screen with a mouse cursor and a hourglass, but freezes. i tried upgrading to windows 7 with both a 32 bit and a 64 bit, but it gets stuck on windows is loading files but sometimes makes it to the windows starting screen but freezes there. I'm wondering if its the harddrive but i just don't know. I know HPs are not the greatest but i got it free so i figured what the hell, ill give it a shot. i did a diagnostic and all the stuff passed, i also reset the bios to factory default from the setup screen. also, when i try the recover option, it doesnt get past windows is loading files, just freezes no matter how long i leave it. any help would be appreciated
