Error Messages, cannot install software, cannot restore.

Hello,
Can you please help? I cannot seem to install any new programs, and I cannot do a system restore.

Internet and microsoft office and printer work fine.

When I try to open Minecraft for my son, I cannot. I get an error message:
C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\msvcr100.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error.

I hit OK, and then another error message...

Errror: loading: C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin

Also, frequently, this pops up:
Google Installer stopped working and was closed.

I tried system restore, I get another error.

I scanned with Norton normally and in the safe mode, nothing, it says no viruses. I uninstalled some recent programs, like my son's Roblox, I deleted temp files and such with a disc scan/clean. None of this has helped. I did a clean boot, didn't help.

Do I have a virus that Norton isn't seeing?

Is there a fix that I can do? I am not great with computers...
