Transfer "contacts" from Windows to Apple

I want to transfer Calendar and Contact List, from my Windows Laptop Outlook, to my Macbook. Problem is after I synch, information appearing on Macbook, has a lot of duplicates, absent info, and my Contact Notes info is entirely missing.

I have asked for help from both Tech Support at Rogers my internet provider - and also Apple Tech Support. Both say they do not support
the other system.
