Hello TSF!
I am in dire need of assistance i have tried nearly everything with my system. It is a Fujitsu Esprimo E900 o-WATT, at first it failed to get past the Windows logo splash screen, but a quick run of the Windows DVD start repair fixed that. Then it aquired the same problem Again, not getting past the Windows logo splash screen. To fix it this time i had to replace the registry hives with their backups, and Again it worked. Now it has crashed a third time, this time however, it won't even boot the Windows boot-manager it just hangs with a blinking cursor in the top left corner, so naturally i figured i could run a startup repair but even this seperate Windows live cd wont help either it just freezes upon selecting repair tools. I have run a memtest and used WD Lifeguard smart and extended, both pass with flying colors. Using HBCD i am able too boot mini xp where i can easily acces the filesystem, is it the mbr, but how would i go about fixing it without bootsect? i am not familiar with the utilities included in hbcd. That was quite a rambling, please let me know of any further information you require.
Your assistance is much appreciated!
Also a format, reinstall is not an option, as the pc contains a bunch of my dads Work programs which i do not have acces too.æ
