Hi guys,
Recently I took on the task of building my own computer. My main priority for this was to make it a "Hackintosh". I have successfully been running Mac OSX on the one SSD for about a year now.
Windows 7 is running on a partition of the HDD. I haven't put the Windows side of things to the test until recently, and now I have discovered that after 10 - 20 minutes (randomly) of doing anything (youtube-ing, Gaming, surfing) it locks up completely. No response at all, so I am forced to restart.
I have gone through the device manager and updated what I think to be all drivers. Windows is up to date with SP1.
So I'm stuck....
Any way I could track down what is causing the freeze?
Or anything to look at in particular?
I should mention, Mac runs perfectly, so this leads me to believe it is not a hardware issue.
Hardware List:
Gigabyte Motherboard Z77N-WIFI
i7-3770K Liquid Cooled
16 GB Ram
Nvidia Geforce GTX 660ti
Windows 7 Home Premium SP1
Thanks!!
