So, a friend asked me to install her Windows 7 on her laptop (she had Win8). I am not IT guy but I know a thing or two about computers so I agreed, it wouldn't be the first time formating a computer for me.
However, it proved to be much more dificult than I expected. First I had problems with just booting the damn Windows CD because of the UEFI. But I finally managed, found out that I need to turn BIOS to Legacy and all and I was able to start Win 7 install.
Then of course I proceeded further, formatted the partition with Win 8 without much thought, and only after that I have noticed that I cannot install Win 7 because of GPT partition style. I tried researching the Internet about it and I've found some solutions but they are for people who still have Windows 8 installed on ther laptops... now, I have a formatted laptop and no idea how to install Win 7 on it.
I've clearly bitten more than I can chew so I hope someone here wil be able to help me.
