Windows freezes when switching from Ubuntu

I have a dual boot with Windows 7 Home Premium and Ubuntu 13.10. The problem is, when I use Ubuntu then restart into Windows 7, my computer freezes about every 10 seconds (task manager shows high CPU usage when this happens).

What can I do to fix this problem?
