Hi,
Is it possible a device driver can become corrupt on download it it's taking a long time?
Reason I ask is because two nights ago my audio stopped working. I've been troubleshooting it since. I've done everything from the least end to the rather extreme end. The Extreme being reinstalling my OS. Which is what I did last night. The problem seems to be centered around the Audio Driver. Which is Realtek HD Audio. My Optical Audio seems to be working, though I don't really know for sure as I don't have anything that will allow me to test it. The Optical Audio does however register in Sounds. So That should be telling me that it's working. I've had 2 other people help me trouble shoot this issue. If anyone can give me a better way to look at it. I"d be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Sfglds
