I'm trying to automate some actions on the Internet during night, I got my program written just fine, but one problem still exists. It wakes the PC from sleep mode fine, but never starts connecting to the Internet. It starts connecting when I open the laptop lid, the little blue ring on the connection symbol starts moving. But I need it to connect when I'm not around to open the lid or do whatever it takes. The program is in Python, if I can solve the problem in the beginning of the program.
And second one, how can I make a task based on the event of waking up from sleep? Currently I have it based on the system event of Power-Troubleshooter, event ID 1, which in my opinion gets as specific as it can, but for some reason it doesn't seem to be working. Maybe it's linked to the previous problem, because I want it to wake up in the middle of the night, run the program and then go back to sleep mode.
Main problem is still getting the Internet connected, once the PC is woken up. Thanks!
