[SOLVED] Java applications CRASH

Hi,

My desktop is Win7 64bit OS, Service Pack 1. I have dual monitors, one is hooked up via USB>VGA/DVI/HDMI adapter.

My problem is with opening Java applications, they always crash. I'm running Java 1.8.0, 32bit JRE, old versions are uninstalled, cache is cleared, etc. Same problem with other java versions, please believe me I tried them all. The only thing I haven't tied it uninstalling Java JRE and intalling JDK... but I really think its down to the computer, not Java. If the OS is 64bit does java have to be 64 as well?

I downloaded the game Minecraft because it uses Java and also produces a log before running. I will paste the relevant portion of the log below before the crash. After looking for solutions on the web, atioglxx.dll+0xb2b2 (see log) might have something to do with it. I tried to search for atioglxx.dll in Windows>System32 and found four hits. Right click on any one, properties>security and in the group/username field I have 'Everyone' and 'SYSTEM'. The permissions for 'Everyone' is 'read/execute' and 'read' while permissions for 'SYSTEM' are all checked, full control. I am unable to change permissions. Not sure if that has anything to do with it?

I have been looking at other sources on the web and possibility is graphics card is causing the problem. My graphics card is ATI Radeon HD 4550. Unfortunietly I have been unable to find its drivers online to update.

Thank you and any help would be appreciated.
