I have an asus x10ch netbook with intel graphics 3000.
It freezes regularly and takes an abnormal amount of time to open something as simple as the control panel. When I start the netbook up, I get a light blue coloured screen before the desktop icons appear.
I got a popup message saying it was igdkmd.sys that was at fault for causing this performance issue. I can't find any idea or solution to this.
I thought that the igdkmd.sys was related to the graphics driver. I reinstalled the graphics driver after it failing to install a few times.
The netbook works fine besides this, any ideas as to why there is such an abnormal performance issue?
