First of all excuse me if this is in the wrong part of the forum!
I'm thinking of buying one of these to set up for my father at home as a little media center PC. He doesn't need fancy 1080p or anything too high powered. just enough to stream netflix, BBC iplayer, play dvd's and such!
I want to install xbmc on windows - i want him to be able to use skype and the browser now and again, but mostly he'll use it for xbmc.
Question 1:
I've heard of windows 7 thin Pc, because it's lightweight and good for thin clients. Would this be less demanding on this very simple setup im thinking of buying???....or is it the same as a stripped down version of windows 7 home???
Question 2:
Is 512mb a worry for windows 7 or thin Pc???? I was also considering XBMCbuntu as it may be less resource intensive!!!
