I have a dell studio 1535 that came with all the cds but my dog chew them all I have nothing to work with but an XP oem s there a way I can install the xp in this computer I tried but keep on telling me that there is an error in the hard disk and I actually was having issues with the computer I believe there was a virus and it´s not even leting me star the windows I still have access to the menu with F2 F12 or F8 thats how i tried to install the xp but it start charging the cd but then stops and tells me about the error is ther away they can send me a copy othe disks when I bought the computer because I know I can have the drivers at their web side but not the vista to reinstall everything. So my biggest question is can I clear the hard drive and format it ?
