ran ccleaner, now JS no work

i ran ccleaner's registry cleaner, and when I did, it screwed up all javascript in waterfox. i've tried merging the backup .reg, didn't do squat, tried re-installing browser, re-installing java, nutin, i even tried system restore, and that doesn't even work anymore.
how do I fix this?
